How To Choose A Blow Dryer ...

There's many things you have to consider when choosing a blow dryer. Watts are important, the higher the wattage, the more powerful the heat and air flow will be. A blow dryer with adjustments like a variable speed and heat control is always a good buy. Weight is also important, you don't want your wrist and hands hurting before even able to style your hair. Hair dryers can range from $20.00 to $150.00, but you can surely buy something in between and get a dryer with good features.

This is what I bought a few months ago, Infiniti Professional Tourmaline Ionic Styler Hair Dryer by Conair

It has 1875 watts, ionic technology to reduce frizz and provides manageability. Tourmaline Ceramic technology helps smooth the cuticle layer, creating silky, shiny hair. Has three heat and two speed settings and it also includes a diffuser for curly and wavy styles, and a concentrator for pinpoint styling. Oh, and it has a retractable cord, so, no more tangled cords !!!

I bought mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $34.99+tax.

TURN UP THE HEAT !!!

Beyond the Zone Pro Formula "TURN UP THE HEAT"

Heat Protection Spray

ALWAYS, protect your hair from the heat ! I use this spray only when I blow dry my hair. I spray a little bit when my hair is still damp, then I blow dry it. Hair can get damaged by straightening irons, hot rollers, curling irons, crimpers, blow dryers and other hot styling tools. You can also use shampoos, conditioners, and other hair products that have a built in UV ray protector. I bought this little spray bottle for $2.99+tax at Sally's Beauty Supply store.

How Often Should You Brush Your Hair ?

There is an old myth that says that you should brush as much as 100 times in one day. Can you believe that ? Most experts now recommend brushing your hair only to style it or detangle. Brushing your hair a lot will cause your hair to break and in result give you split ends. It's essential to buy your hair brush depending on your hair type. The way you brush your hair will affect it and cause damage to it. So don't brush as often and brush carefully, you can start from the bottom and work your way up. If you brush from root to tip may cause you to damage it if you have it tangled. There are many good hair detanglers in the market that you can use to prevent hair damage, I personally use "Pantene Hair Detangler".
